Peak seasons: before, during and after

Most peak seasons are decided before launch. Turn prep, daily checks and wrap-up into a work-back schedule and checklists, plus a review sheet for next year.

In this chapter

  • Working back from the order cutoff date to how many weeks ahead each peak season needs its creative ready, its warm-up started and its ad sets through the learning phase
  • Matching budget, stock, production, delivery and customer service capacity in one table, and finding the one item that really limits how much you can sell
  • The few numbers to check at a fixed time every day during the season, and which moves make things worse when CPM rises
  • Refunds, ROAS falling back and wrapping up retargeting after the season, with your own baseline to judge when to stop
  • The column spec for a peak-season review sheet, so next year you don't have to guess the same season from scratch
